How do I restore a purchase?
Open Cardfolio, go to Profile → Subscription, and choose Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple account that made the original purchase.
How do I cancel Cardfolio Premium?
Open Apple Settings, select your Apple Account, choose Subscriptions, then Cardfolio. Canceling stops the next renewal; premium access normally continues through the paid period.
How do I delete my account?
In Cardfolio, open Profile → Delete Account and follow the confirmation steps. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Where are free-plan cards stored?
Free-plan cards are stored locally for your Cardfolio account on that device. Removing the app or losing the device can remove local-only cards, so export important information when available.
Does Cardfolio send card photos to AI?
No. Premium enhanced parsing sends extracted card text through Cardfolio’s backend to OpenAI. The business-card image is not sent to OpenAI.
What languages does scanning support?
The current scanning and parsing experience is optimized for English-language business cards.
Will Cardfolio merge duplicate cards?
Not currently. Review your library before saving a second copy of the same business card.
Why is information missing after a scan?
Lighting, focus, unusual layouts, and small type can affect extraction. Retake the photo in even light and review every field before saving.
Still need help?
Email the Cardfolio support team. Include the device model, iOS version, and a short description of what happened. Do not send passwords or full business-card images.
